Introducing the Moster 185 MY ’20 and the Atom 80 MY ’20.
This engines are available in our shop
This are the new features:
MOSTER 185 MY ’20
The most important activity that has been carried out is of the exhaust, the component that was most implemented, with the modification of the following elements:
-New geometry of the ‘bronze bush’ made with special materials, and increased contact surface area, to offer greater durability and maximum system safety;
-Reinforced manifold with a “double rib” welding system that offers greater security for a more stable and repeatable manufacturing process;
-A second joint has been added which has led to a significant improvement: it stops the transfer of vibrations from the engine to the muffler and reduces the load on the manifold, created by the weight and accelerations of the exhaust.
For the engine components of the Moster 185, which are already excellent, we have made the following further improvements:
– New cylinder Nikasil plating treatment, for greater performance and durability;
– Anti-rotation device for pull starter shaft;
– New material for the airbox rubber sleeve, to ensure longer life and stability of the system;
– BR9 spark plug with steel pin, for greater stability of the cap;
– Oil-seals of the highest quality and durability, always Made in Italy;
– Treatment of all screws with an anti-corrosion system.
ATOM 80 MY ’20
– New design, new fusion technology of the engine crankcase and of the reduction drive:
Greater precision in mechanical processing, with the advantage of precise and always guaranteed coupling;
Better aesthetic finishes;
Less weight from new geometries;
Added oil drain plug on a magnetic base in the reduction drive;
Added inspection hole of the reduction drive oil level.
– Reinforced silencer plate, thickness increase (+1.0 mm) and geometry change;
– New Walbro WB series Carburettor, stability in all weather conditions, with the possibility of adjusting the H jet to compensate for the lower atmospheric temperatures;
– New clutch design with noise damper;
– New material for the Airbox rubber sleeve;
– BR9 spark plug with steel pin, for greater stability of the cap;
– Seals of very high quality and durability, as ever Made in Italy;
– Treatment of all screws with anti-corrosion system.
Dear PAP pilots and distributors,
We have detected an important problem in one of the SAFARI engine components. This is the black ignition Carter that is located between the engine Carter and the gray star. Some units of those pieces made of cast iron have broken where the main carter is screwed.
We have solved this defect with a reinforced Carter and machined in 7075 aluminum which is already available for those who need it or want to change it as a precaution. Changing that Carter is not very easy since you have to remove the flywheel before, so we recommend that this operation to be carried out in a professional workshop.
In the meantime, we remind you that it is very important to carry out a thorough check of all the main parts of the engine and the paramotor before each flight: in case of encountering this particular problem, the paramotor should no longer be used until replacing that part with a new one. .
We are very sorry for the inconvenience that this setback may cause.
Without another particular, we take the opportunity to greet you and wish you happy flights!
“HF” KIT TECHNICAL FEATURES
The new profile of the burning chamber improves the propagation of the flame optimizing the turbulence during the fuel combustion phase. This peculiarity, together with the increasing of the compression ratio, improves the engine performance reducing the fuel consumption.
CARBURETOR SET-UP AND AIR BOX (FOR THOR 200 ONLY)
The new set up of the carburetion has been improved thanks to a series of workings inside the carburetor finalized to increase the power output and the vaporization of the petrol/air mixture.
SCS is the innovative cooling system of the spark plug that lows the working temperatures in the point of highest grade of heat and in the burning chamber, eliminating the events of over-heating definitively.
The new design of the “Polini High Flow” cooling shrouds optimizes and accelerates the incoming flows and increases the exit power towards the propeller.
Polini HF kit, installed with all the its parts, reduces the EGT temperatures till 100 C° and till 60 C° the temperatures under the spark plug.
We would like to welcome the one and only 6 times World Acrobatic Champion Horacio Llorens to our PAP Team .
The PAP equipment that Horacio will use on his adventures will be :
Frame : PAP Tinox 1400
First impressions from Horacio:
“The frame is very easy to mount and dismount.The engine has very good power, the torque effect is very well compensate and it is very pleasant in the air.
What has surprised me most is the lightness of the whole assembly of the Tinox 1400 paramotor mounted with the Moster+”
After a long period of development, Vittorazi launches a new engine, the Atom 80.
We can say directly, that the sensations in flight are the closest to flying with an electric engine.
Very light, with only 10.5 kgs of weight, it has a smooth and linear acceleration with hardly any vibrations. A very important point is that it has a very contained sound. The termination is exemplary, and we can venture to say that this “anti-stress” engine will be the delight of many pilots. The thrust is more than enough for pilots up to 90 kgs, as always, depending on the area of flying and the paraglider used.
It is available in our range of TINOX frame in size 1400 with 125 or 130cms propellers. The weight of the complete Paramotor with our PAP harness with AIRBAG is 21.1 Kg and with a light harness without AIRBAG it can go below 20 Kgs.
Some customers who fly only in Trike have asked us for a version made of Stainless Steel entirely
to make it even more rigid. We have decided to include them in our range as it offers other
advantages such as the cost (€ 100 cheaper) as well as the possibility of repairing a small
deformation. Since, although this frame offers the possibility of acquiring one of the interchangeable
parts, there are pilots who still prefer the handling possibilities of stainless steel.
The “PA125” gives way to our new 125cc engine, the “SAFARI125” (Fig. 07):
It is a 125cc air cooled engine (54 x 54 mm.) With a diaphragm carburettor and 23 hp. of power at
9800 rpm. The gear is of Poly V belt with a reduction of 1 / 3,65 and carries a centrifugal clutch. Its
weight with a manual start is about 12.1 kg.
The Safari will also be available in a version with an electric starter : the battery is Lithium and the
extra weight of the whole electric starter kit is 1 kg. Very interesting for pilots who may find the pull
For security reasons we have chosen to have the start button in the same box that carries the
battery, the relay, the short circuit, the fuse and a display for the battery charge level (Fig. 08).
You can press the start button of the engine whilst it’s on your back, on the ground or during flight.
The battery does not charge with the engine and you will have to charge it with the charger that
is delivered as standard. You can start the engine approximately 40 times with a fully charged
battery, this allows for a good few days of flight without recharging.
Always paying attention to the market we have been working since the beginning of last year in an evolution of our frame looking for less weight , comfort but without losing the robustness, and of course the safety that we have always sought.
The result is the TINOX, a frame that is composed mainly of 2 materials: Titanium for the hoops and stainless steel for the main body.
This frame is done in parts so that without any problem you can change any of the parts in case it is needed. The disassembly is very easy and the four parts are easily stored in the case that comes standard with each paramotor.
It exists in a single size of 140cm where you can put both 125cm and 130cm propeller.
The feeling of lightness is great in a frame that has been designed for take-off on foot, although it can be used without problem on a trike like the Rolling or mini Rolling.
We already have available a lightweight cover to protect the parts of your 3parts frame.
The cover is valid for our PAP chassis from 1400mm to 1500mm external ring.
This cover is perfect to protect the parts of your chassis and prevent hitch and damage the net when you’re transporting your Paramotor dismounted.
After a year of dialogue, it was not until the end of 2016 that PAP and ALS decided to join their workforce to develop new products.
The ALS paramotor company, headed by Denis Clases, becomes a dealer of the PAP brand in the North of France and will present part of our range at the MAP (Mondial Air Paramoteur) on 23, 24 and 25 of June
The prototype of a new frame is the resust of this collaboration will be visible at the ALS / PAP stand at the MAP.
Rest assured that this new force will be with you for greater satisfaction.
We have available in our shop a new cover to protect your paramotor.
The cover is validates for any paramotor in the marquet from 1400mm to 1500mm of external ring, made of waterproof materials and will protect your paramotor from ultraviolet rays. The cover doesn’t have a logo to be multi-brand
This cover is perfect to leave your paramotor in the field without worrying that the materials being damage by the ultraviolet rays and at the same time will be protect from dust.
The new airbox and some changes in the carburation of the engine has made the engine quieter and very clean on all rpm with a more linear power delivery.
This is a major improvement for our Rolling Trike Tandem Kit.
By connecting the passenger footrest with the Tandem bar(Roll bar) this stabilizes the union of the Trike with Paramotor, to prevent that the passenger could change the inclination while exerting pressure on the footrest.
This development is due to Simon Pitchford, one of our English distributors that has been using it for some time.
This belt, which is already included as standard, can be installed easily and without tools on all Kit sold before this date. It is already available in the store and its price is 26 euros VAT included.
This reliable engine, with it’s stainless steel exhaust has been on the market for a long time and has evolved to the engine we propose to you, we think that it will make a lot of happy pilots.
175cc , light weight, good thrust and a very clean finishing, we were surprised the little vibrations that the pilot feels during flight. The highlight as well is that it makes little noise due to its 2.88/1 reduction and the carbon silencer that we choose as on of the options that the manufacturer proposed.
An interesting option is a kit that CORS-AIR proposes , being able to remove the propeller with just one central screw , this is for a 6 or 4 screw propeller.
