SupeR-Ramón Morillas:
To fly high and far are one off the dreams that I have been persecuting for years in my sport of paramotor. In the last week of August 2008 and first of September, I have made three flights of great altitude, the objective was to test the flight equipment and the pilot .....

THE EQUIPMENT
Everything for the project to ascend a mountain of 8000 meters in Pakistan . With Pierre Aubert of the PAP team , we decided to mount a F200 of walkerjet, also supported by the Czech constructors of Fly engine. Regarding the paraglider, I first flew the Sigma 7, 23 meters , the second day a Epsilon 5, 23metros , and third day and complete flight with A Omega 7, 26 meters , All of them are from the Swiss paragliders company Advance. In each flight I was noticing the lack of atmospheric pressure and amount of oxygene, as much in the engine as in the benefits of flight and my organism. The 25 of August I took off in Cenes de la Vega about 18 pm, I rose as rapidly as possible in the the thermal and then the ski resort of Sierra Nevada , in one hour I was near the 6000 meters of altitude taking advantage of thermal and engine, while in altitude I thought that could perhaps carburate and obtain that the engine stayed in good revolutions at that height.
The following day I dedicated to be able to carburate in flight and to review all the equipment (motor , paraglider, instruments, etc.). also to rest the body as when you raise so fast and descends equally, the body suffers. Piloting full throttle turning thermal's, with a so powerful engine, also tires…
Wednesday 27, the part of wind was wind above and storms, at 15 pm I began to prepare the take off, Raul Rodriguez and Roman told me the conditions in the takeoff at the ski resort Sierra Nevada and the three thousands of the mountain range, there was a congestus cumulus with towers that rose vertically.

My brother Juan was with me, checking the take off, as the previous day I raised fast and was at 3700 mts in 27 minutes and continued directly to the great cloud, when I got up to 5000 meters the base of the cloud was very underneath so I decided to approach me one of the vertical walls: It was incredible, stuck to the windward of an ascending wall that finished in an anvil if looking upwards I observed as it grew , and below also, I could maintain to rise + 2 and + 3 meters per second, in other areas valleys of descending clouds appeared, where they lowered. It was doing hillside in the cloud.
After playing a while in that area, underneath another white tower grew quickly that came close at great speed, I separated and turned circles as in thermal with clouds underneath and the great wall behind, after a while I dared to go in at one ff lateral I ascended, descended, as a washing machine. It moved me until the entrails, to get out took its time, because it grew faster than my speed flight, when I saw the GPS, it marked 6400 meters “wow“ I thought, soon no matter how I carburated, the engine did not recover and it lost revs, Juan shouted at me through the radio “this is growing too much " and I was certain a great majestic nimbus grew above me .......
the conclusions I took fast, I always likes to stop the engine and to descend too enjoying the views, the engine needs more air, as I did in Kilimanjaro, I will take away the air filter, it is necessary to use a bigger paraglider with high benefits, and the lack of I oxygen “Hypoxia” the first that it gives is euphoria .....
In the end I decided too take off at sea level and try too beat the speed record at 3000 and the altitude at 6000 and would not leave hypoxia to play a bad one on me.
2nd of September 2008: Took off at 0 meters at the beach of Motril , Granada with the Omega 7 26 meters and my PAP1400F200 without air filter and with a piece of segueta to carburete in flight, the weather prognostics was ideal, winds of the southwest that increased with the height.

In 25 minutes and 40 seconds I arrived at 3000 meters , in 1h11 minutes I was at 6000 meters and already on slopes of Sierra Nevada . Taking advantage of the compression off the strong winds in the mountain and looking for the wave ancestry. I arrived quickly at great altitude. Constantly I was hyperventilating, also drinking and observing myself physically…The engine continued with good revs, that yes we have less than half of the air as in the takeoff and the propellers push very little. Meter to meter I went ascending from 6000 too 6100 and that until 6500.

I found an ascendancy that approached me to thick cirrus than normal nearly touching them with the hand”. At 6700 not rising at all, but the engine still working well I thought wanting too get to 7000 meters , and tried to look for a way, during a while I remained concentrated, the GPS said more than 7000, but the barograph was at 6740, suddenly a light bulb ignited in my mind, it was long time being at 6000 meters and although I was ok, I decided to stop the engine and to begin to descend. In none of my flights of height I have used oxygen and I assume the risk that it involves..... The wind surpassed 30 knots which involved that I had to accelerate fully during almost all the descent the sensation of fatigue and stress was quite big but controllable, finally I landed at the front door off my house in the “Purche Monachil”. Tired and content of these 3 possible Records', but mainly of the so great possibilities that these equipment offer me for my future projects.
From 0 to 6700 in less than 2 hours, this is too good.
Thanks to Juan, my brother, to Pierre of PAP to all the family Draco, the colleagues, Advance, Fly engine, Nac intercom, Flypa, Helix Propellers, Andalusia , Red bull, and Cetursa Sierra nevada and to all those that dream wide-awake.....
